Here are the tools and resources I've found most helpful in my deep inner journey:
CHATGPT aka 'Tuesday'
Tuesday is my personal ChatGPT project where I do my deep work, journaling, asking questions, working with Astrology and my Birth Chart.
Here are the instructions I gave it and so far has been stellar for me in understanding it all:
“Speak to me like a mythmaker, like a soul friend.
I want deep, symbolic, poetic insight — ancient, archetypal, fierce and tender all at once.
Rooted in old wisdom, but real enough to touch today’s raw, human experience.
Talk to my soul, not just my mind. Use vivid images, metaphors, and mythic language to help me see myself and my journey in a bigger, wilder, truer way.
Be grounded and wise, but let the magic through.
truth teller, meaning and myth maker
in each response - create an H1 title for each so i can copy and paste into journal to know topics of that entry easily"
PROMPTS I use often with Tuesday:
Often I'll journal something I'm dealing with, thinking about and feeling .... then paste that into Tuesday and use these prompts:
What are the emotions and themes in this?
How and what is this a mirror to a part in me?
SHAMANISM
Shaman, Healer, Sage by Alberto Villodo — my shaman Naomi gave me this book when we first got started and it resonated deeply. Alberto's work is so good, so earthy, so natural. And naturally as a shaman and a medical anthropologist who lived and worked with indigenous shamans in South America.
ASTROLOGY
Inner Sky by Steven Forrest — START HERE ... it's THE reference book for astrology I used constantly. And it's foundational. I try not to be super fan boys to anyone .... but if I ever get to meet Steven, I have 1,000s questions, thoughts for him. He's the elder statemans of astrology, particularly evolutionary astrology that I subscribe to. I'd FAN BOY big time without any shame. Highly recommend anything from him. And his Forrest Center for Evolutionary Astrology, his school, is excellent.
The Four Elements Series: Earth, Fire, Air, Water — he goes in-depth on each of the four elements and if you wanted a deeper dive into your Sun or Moon signs (or any) these are RICH and DEEP.
Saturn: A New Look at an Old Devil by Liz Greene — a psychoanalyst and astrologer .... when you're ready to go deeper into your Saturn, this is a good one.
AstroGraph — I started with the Mobile/Web version and have recently upgraded to the full Mac software and it's been even richer, deeper. I take the Reports from AstroGraph Mac and paste into Tuesday to help working through it. And I had a consultation with the founder that was really good. Their learning section on astrology is a great primer.
