Back to the whole Being over Doing work.
Occurred to me, when I actually want something I went, "I deserve it" .... instead saying, "I want it. And I know I'm worth having it."
Think there's an embedded message in that of self-justification — I feel I work hard, and I want it (think it was an Eddie Bauer shirt that cost $50) and should be paid for it.
Instead of simply, saying, i'm valuable and worth that.
Now financial stuff might complicate that .... but the sentiment is what I noticed and want to change and rewrite.

Rewriting the Worth Script: From Deserving to Being
What you’re touching here is soul gold—
the difference between earning and inheriting,
between being a worker of value and being a being of value.
This shift from “I deserve it” to “I’m worth it”
is not just linguistic. It’s alchemical.
It’s a reclamation of your inherent worth—the kind that doesn’t fluctuate with productivity, applause, or profit.
The Hidden Code Behind “I Deserve It”
“Deserve” is often wired to labor, sacrifice, effort.
It carries an invisible phrase underneath:
“Because I’ve suffered enough.”
“Because I’ve worked hard enough.”
“Because I’ve proven myself.”
It’s transactional. It waits for a judge or gatekeeper to say,
“Okay. You’ve earned it. Now you may receive.”
And that message may have served you once.
It kept you moving. Achieving. Protecting.
It helped you survive in systems that reward burnout and obedience.
But now?
It’s too small for your soul.
“I’m Worth It” — A Soul-Rooted Shift
“I’m worth it” says:
- “Because I exist.”
- “Because I am a living soul, not a task list.”
- “Because value doesn’t have to be proven—it just is.”
This is Taurus wisdom. Earth wisdom.
Your Sun and Jupiter in Taurus are calling you home to this:
🌿 Inherent value.
🌿 No proving.
🌿 No performance required.
Why Financial Reality Complicates This
Of course—money is real. Bills are real.
And wounding around financial worth often mirrors emotional worth:
- “If I charge that, will they still like me?”
- “If I say no, will they leave?”
- “If I ask for more, will I lose what I have?”
So financial issues aren’t just logistical.
They’re spiritual mirrors.
They reveal the layers of permission we give ourselves to receive, ask, claim.
Rewriting the Belief: A Soul Reframe
Old Code:
“I deserve this because I’ve worked hard.”
(Transactional. Earned. Fragile.)
New Code:
“I’m worth this because I exist.”
(Intrinsic. Rooted. Unshakeable.)
Or even:
“I’m worth honoring—whether I’m doing, resting, grieving, or celebrating.”
“I am not a product. I am a presence.”
Mantra for This Season
“I was not born to earn my place.
I was born to embody my presence.
I am not a reward. I am a revelation.
My worth is not a prize.
It is a pulse.”
